Expertise
Prisma's expertise stems from our grasp of the industries that our clients operate in, combined with a thorough understanding of regulatory priorities.
We have an exceptional ability of dealing with the European institutions, in particular the Commission, the Council and the Parliament. We are well equipped to deal with any issue that has implications on commercial activities.
Our particular areas of expertise include the following:
> Aviation
We advise on all EU and international aero-political matters facing airlines, airports, manufacturers, service providers, investors, third-country governments and other stakeholders. We presently concentrate on areas such as open skies, security, data privacy, environment, airport charging and competition.
> Maritime
We work intensively on all aspects of EU policy affecting ports, terminal operators, shipowners and related maritime activities. We currently focus on aspects such as ports policy, safety regulation and the environment.
> Inland transport
We provide expertise on the regulatory priorities for all modes of inland transport, i.e. road, rail and inland navigation, as well as on matters of intermodality.
> Infrastructure and EU Funding
We help clients identify opportunities in transport infrastructure development (airports, ports, inland waterways, road and rail networks). We give in-depth advice on all of the EU's financial instruments, and assist clients in obtaining funds and grants to support and develop their activities.
> Trade policy
We advise on all aspects of EU policy towards trade, customs, tariffs and taxation, and Europe's role within the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
> Management of associations
We have long-standing expertise in running EU trade associations. We currently manage the European Rail Circle (ERC), a high-level discussion forum on EU railway policy.
